The Final Journey

by Asmi Kothari

Mr. Amar Bohra gives all the credit to the Landmark Self-Expression and Leadership Program for the start of his project called, ‘The Final Journey’. He solely started it in Mumbai, India whilst he was searching for a selfless contribution to the society and came across the idea of cremating unclaimed dead bodies around the city. Many people around him disgracefully put him down as they were of the opinion that the idea of “the final journey” is irrelevant and there might me legal issues he will face, but he stood strong and went ahead with it anyway.

He received around four dead bodies at first and three later within the span of a month. A few of his supporters included his coach and leader Mr. Sudarshan and a bunch of his colleagues and friends. His business associate was moved by this noble cause, and helped him a lot during the funeral arrangements.

He is now working to create a team of around 10-15 members to take this project forward. He also mentioned that Landmark courses gave him far more than he expected – an estate of almonds wherein he expected a handful of peanuts from this course!

The Landmark education has come up with multiple courses for self-development. They help you to contribute to your life and reflect upon all the mishaps or difficulties you have been facing. It is very motivating and informative. I did this course along with my sister and had a lot of fun. I recommend this course each one of you.
